Julie has 30+ years experience playing and coaching the game. She played lacrosse through youth, high school, and college. At South River she attended HS and was a dual sport athlete playing lacrosse and soccer all 4 years, earning two HS state championships in that time. In college she was also a dual sport athlete playing soccer and lacrosse. She played midfield at Salisbury University for the varsity team. After college, she began coaching Northern High School lacrosse and she served as the NHS Head Coach in 2003-2004, growing a talented and competitive girls group at that time. Julie lives in Huntingtown MD with her husband and 3 kids(Michael, Ben, and Ryan).
Amanda received a full tuition scholarship to play lacrosse at the University of Maryland where she was a two-time team Captain, two-time ACC champion, and won a National Championship her senior year in 2010. Amanda is in her second year of coaching her daughter as she begins her lacrosse journey with the Rockettes and cannot wait to grow girls lacrosse in Calvert County! Amanda lives in Chesapeake Beach with her husband, two children, and her fur baby Jazzy
Brandon has been coaching youthsports for the past 10 years and loves helping young athletes grow inconfidence, skill, and teamwork. Brandon attended the University of Maryland,where he played on the rugby team. While attending Maryland, Brandon met hislate wife, Amanda, who introduced him to women’s lacrosse and helped spark hispassion for the game. Since then, lacrosse has become an important part of hislife, and he’s grateful for the opportunity to continue to share Amanda’spassion with young players. Outside of coaching, Brandon is a partner at a DClaw firm, parent of two kids (Griffin, 12, and Jillian, 11), a dog owner to twoenergetic pups, and enjoys CrossFit and watching sports in his free time.
Emma has been playing lacrosse for over 14 years. She was recruited and received a scholarship to play Division II lacrosse at Lock Haven University while getting her degree in Business Marketing. Emma has a passion for mentoring and coaching, working with numerous youth programs and organizations. Emma has coached for the HYC youth lacrosse program in the past and is very passionate about helping young players develop skills to enhance and elevate their game.
